Oscar E. Agazzi, President
Dr. Oscar E. Agazzi is a recognized expert in the fields of Communications and Signal Processing, where he has made important contributions for thirty years.

He is Vice President and Chief Systems Architect at Clariphy Communications, Inc. Prior to joining ClariPhy Communications, Inc., Dr. Agazzi worked at Broadcom Corporation, where he was the chief architect of the BCM5400 family of Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) transceivers.

He also played an instrumental role in the development of Broadcom’s 10-Gigabit Ethernet optical and copper transceivers.


Previously he served at Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories where he did advanced research and developments in the fields of ISDN transceivers, magnetic-recording reading channels and document recognition systems.

At Lucent he was appointed Bell Labs Fellow, the most prestigious distinction awarded by Bell Labs to its research staff.

Dr. Agazzi holds an Electrical and Electronic Engineer degree and a Licentiate in Physics from the University of Córdoba, Argentina and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.


He has 40 patents issued or pending and has published more than 40 technical papers.
Hugo S. Carrer, Vice President
Hugo S. Carrer received his Electronics Engineer degree from the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences at the National University of Córdoba in 2001.


Since 2002, he has worked for the Digital Communications Laboratory at the Electronics Engineering Department of the same faculty.

In 2005 he received a scholarship from the National Secretaryship of Science and Technology for his Doctor´s degree in Digital Communications and Optical Channels.  


He has several pending patents and has published more than 10 papers in international journals and conferences.
Mario R. Hueda, Director
Dr. Mario R. Hueda received his Electrical and Electronic Engineer degree in 1994 and his Doctor´s degree in Engineering Sciences in 2002 from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina.

From 1994 to 1996 he was a scholar at the Technological and Scientific Research Council of the Province of Córdoba (CONICOR), where he did research in the field of digital transmission of information by voice-band modems.


From August to November 1996 he served at Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, USA, where he worked on the design of receptors for wireless mobile phones with CDMA technology.


Since 1997, he has done research at the Digital Communications Laboratory, Electronics Department, Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences, National University of Córdoba, where he is an associate professor.


Dr. Hueda has been research fellow at The National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) since 2005, has several pending patents and has published more than 30 papers in international journals and conferences.
Damián Morero, Director
Prof. Dr. Damián A. Morero was born in Córdoba, Argentina. He received the degree in electronic engineering with honors and the Ph.D. degree in engineering science from the National University of Cordoba (UNC), Cordoba, Argentina.

In 2003 and 2005, he received the Academic Excellence Award from the Engineers Association of Cordoba Argentina and the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (FCEFyN), respectively. From 2006 to 2009, he received Ph.D. Fellowships from the Secretary of Science and Technology (SeCyT), Argentina.

Since 2005, he has carried out research at the Digital Communication Laboratory, Electronic Department, FCEFyN, UNC, where he is Professor.

Dr. Morero has 4 patents issues and several patents pending and has published more than 15 papers in international journals and conferences.
Richard Ogawa, Director
Richard Ogawa serves as Inphi's General Counsel, responsible for overseeing legal matters as well as corporate, intellectual property, and government affairs.

Mr. Ogawa is a Registered United States Patent Attorney and a Member of the California State Bar with more than 25 years of experience specializing in technology companies.

Prior to Inphi, he was a top Partner at Townsend and Townsend, a law firm focused on IP. While at the firm, he was Chair of the Asia Practice Group and served on its Policy Committee. He is the founder and owner of Ogawa, P.C., his own law firm.

He has also held a variety of engineering and management positions at NEC Electronics. Richard is a frequent speaker, instructor, and writer on emerging legal issues and growing companies.

He is a Charter Member of the Indus Entrepreneur Group (TIE) and has been a Board Member of the Asian Law Alliance, American Intellectual Property Law Association, and others. Mr. Ogawa also serves as a Partner Member for Technology Group 2800 of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1984, and a J.D. from Mc. George School of Law, University of Pacific in 1991.
