The city of Córdoba was founded at the Suquía riverside on July 6th, 1573, and was originally called Córdoba de la Nueva Andalucía by its founder - the Spanish noble Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera.

UbSituated in the central region of the country between 360 and 480 meters over sea level, Córdoba is the second most important city in Argentina with more than 1,300,000 inhabitants and a strong economic development.

Due to its strategic situation, the city is an important communication center, with national and international flights and bus services.

Córdoba is also famous for its university population and its several universities, both national and private. In Córdoba, visitors can go around the Historical Center, walk along the main pedestrian area in the country, discover the beauty of colonial architecture and visit outstanding places.
